Just some dudes who love music trying to make music people love…

Josh Goodman first picked up guitar to impress a girl his senior year of high school… and while that didn’t work, he discovered not only a fun activity, but also a passion that would take him across the country. Empathy and emotion are often the starting points for Josh’s songwriting. Reflecting on the joys and pains from his own life and from the world around him, he weaves a very raw and human personality into music that touches others. He hopes his music can reach his audience on a personal level and share in this roller coaster life.

Josh Goodman and a Few Goodmen draws inspiration from artists such as Dave Matthews, The Lumineers, Glen Hansard, Mumford and Sons, and Conor Oberst while incorporating various tastes including pop, alternative, blues, rock, americana, some punk, a very tiny bit of country (seriously, Josh cannot stress how little country music plays a part.)
