worship leader, SONGWRITER, and ENTERTAINER

In 2017, I made the move from Newport News, VA to the Chicago area in pursuit of a woman who I can proudly claim as my wife. Out in here in the ‘burbs, we raise our daughter Cecilia and, when I’m not changing diapers, I perform and lead worship several nights a week and write songs. My music has taken me to several states, including North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, and Oregon and I would love to add more states to my list!

As a worship leader, I play both solo and in groups for Retreats (Extreme Faith Camp, MN), Conferences (Rockford Youth Summit, IL), Mass/Liturgies/Weddings/Funerals (St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Charles, IL), Adoration (Our Lady of Mercy, Aurora, IL), Youth/Worship Nights (Ignite Ministry Nights, NC), Summer Camps (Mission Evansville, IN), and many other events, including ecumenical events (Marriage and Faith Conference, OR). I also write and record worship songs (new project coming, Winter 2022).

As a performer, I play a variety of shows in bars, restaurants, coffee shops, back yards, and neighborhood block parties, both solo and with my band, Josh Goodman and a Few Good Men. Our repertoire includes popular hits from the 50’s through 2000’s, Modern Folk/Americana (Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Avett Bros.) and Original Music, by yours truly ;).

A few other ways I like to perform and be creative include recording and producing music, both my own songs and covers for others (Shalom World TV, TX) and DJing/MCing Wedding receptions. I know, maybe it doesn’t sound super creative, but I love to help create moments for people: excitement, romance, heartfelt - I just love it.
